Due to the ongoing financial difficulties which the Covid-19 Coronavirus epidemic has caused to Air transportation, Aerial work, and Testing and Receipt, CRPN’s Board of Directors has decided to continue the Covid-19 assistance program which was rolled out in 2020 through the beginning of 2021. This program has been aiding businesses that these special circumstances may prevent from paying their contributions in full by their due date.

As part of this program, employers who have paid their employee’s contributions on time will be granted automatic forgiveness for the late penalties that would normally apply to their employer’s contributions for January through May 2021 if those have not been paid on time.

Any employer’s contributions that have not been paid on the basis of the above-referenced period will need to be paid in full by June 25, 2021 in anticipation of the Decrees which CRPN is expecting to be published.

In short, from January through May 2021, the following apply to businesses experiencing payment difficulties:

• Employee’s contributions are payable by the usual due dates
• The payment deadline for employer’s contributions is extended through June 25, 2021
• Late penalties are automatically forgiven assuming employee’s contributions are paid on time and the employer’s share is paid by June 25, 2021.
