The tripartite agreement negotiated between the State, French Polynesia and the CRPNPAC has been signed!
Michel JANOT, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Caisse de Retraite du Personnel Navigant Professionnel de l’Aéronautique Civile (CRPNPAC) [Civil Aviation Flight Crew Pension Fund] is proud and happy to announce:
The signing in Paris on 14 December 2021 by:
Yvonnick RAFFIN, Minister of Finance, the Economy and Tourism, responsible for energy, generalised social protection and coordination of government action of French Polynesia, representing French Polynesia,
and,
By delegation of Chairman Michel JANOT, Sandrine JOHNSON, Deputy Director General of the CRPNPAC, representing the CRPNPAC,
of the agreement on the complementary pension scheme for civil professional flight crew working in French Polynesia or from French Polynesia, between the State, French Polynesia and the CRPNPAC.
This tripartite agreement, entered into pursuant to Article L. 6775-3 of the French Transport Code, is the fruit of an effective consultation over several months between the stakeholders. This agreement thus enables full and entire application of the whole of the pension scheme to flight crew in French Polynesia, without distinction or restriction, by adapting the conditions of application of this scheme to the local specificities linked to the employment legislation and autonomous and separate social security law.
In this way:
- It secures the positioning of the CRPNPAC for employers and flight crew in French Polynesia by recognising the obligation to affiliate to the CRPN;
- It guarantees that flight crew and employers of flight crew in French Polynesia can benefit from certain provisions which were not previously applicable to them.
The agreement will take effect on 1st January 2021.
